WATCH: New Death Grips – ‘Get Got’
Following on from our previous post reporting the announcement of Death Grips’ two 2012 full-lengths as well as the ‘Blackjack’ video, the Sacramento punk-rap outfit have today given us some more concrete details…
Bizarrely, the trio have signed to Sony-owned major label Epic Records (home of Fiona Apple and Shakira). The UK release will be handled by Columbia. Weird. The first LP, ‘The Money Store’, will be exclusively available on vinyl from 21st April as part of Record Store Day, before a general release drops on 23rd April. The second LP will be titled ‘No Love’, and is expected sometime around autumn.
No tracklisting for either as yet, but we do know the first release will include ‘Blackjack’, along with new track ‘Get Got’. Check out the new video for that below:
